I ordered these to see if they help with muscle cramping during long runs. I got them too late to wear for my scheduled marathon, and did not want to risk wearing them to run without testing them. However, I tend to have achy knees and soreness in my quads and hams, so wore them the whole day before, and after I showered after a really tough hilly trail marathon. I could not believe how well they supported my legs and took away the discomfort. Generally after this marathon my legs jump all night, but had none of that while wearing these to bed. My next step is to wear them out for a short run, then increase my time in them running to make sure that they do not chafe. Yes, they are hard to put on, but I would expect that from a compression garment. Once on, they do not creep. I am used to wearing fivefinger shoes, so am used to hard to put on running gear! I am almost 5'4" tall, female, weight about 125. The size 2 was perfect for me. Someone taller may find them a little short once they get them fitted to their body in the right places.
