    I read previous reviews and should have listened. If you have any muscle (or fat) in your thighs, these shorts will NOT look good. They seem high quality and I'm sure they are but they are REALLY short and REALLY tight, creating an innertube look above the band at the bottom of the shorts--NOT attractive. I really wanted them to fit but they just are too small, too short, too tight...

    Yes, the legs are a little tight. However, you want that for a triathlon. These shorts aren't going to move around on you. I think that they will be great for a race. The only possible downside is that they are so short that the bike seat sort of rubs on the inside of my thighs.

    I bought these for my first tri, and didn't use them because they were so uncomfortable. The other reviewers are right on- too short, and the gripper bands on the thighs were too tight and made me look pudgy- definitely not confidence-enhancing.

    In spite of ordering a size larger the elastic fit way too tight around the thighs. I was afraid to exchange for the next size up for fear they would be too big everywhere else. If you have muscular legs I would not recommend these shorts.

    Do not order these shorts if you have big or muscular thighs! While the description gives the length of the inseam, I ordered them thinking they'd be good for racing, but not for me. For someone with small thighs I'm sure they'd be great though!
