Zoot Sports Ultra Nanoshell Jacket (For Women)

I bought this for my wife for her Bday. When I read about the unique zipper design; I thought how clever. Well, if you like to wear your zipper up always; the jacket looks great, but what about when you need to pull the zipper halfway or even a quarter way down? When the zipper was down, one side of the collar will bounce and get in the way and annoyed the heck out of her. She wanted to keep it because the jacket looks fabulous on her, but she returned it:(

When I first tried on the Zoot jacket, I was worried the fit was a little off. The sleeves seemed very long. However on a bike, the sleeve length is perfect. I have been wearing this over a thin fleece layer on cold days or over a tank top on warmer days. It blocks the wind, does not restrict my movement, looks pretty cool, and is very comfortable.

It is the perfect jacket for battling the wind, which I just did! I like the way it fits on the body and the 'princess seams' are a nice look, but it is weird that the sleeves are so long. I would also wear this jacket hiking (if windy).

This is a cool jacket...just not for anything except cycling. I bought it for my girlfriend as a cold weather running jacket...but the fit is really tight, and the arms are long. It would be great for cycling, but not for general use. This is definitely something that you need to try on in person, since its very "fitted".

I love this jacket in black so much I had to order a 2nd in the other color! This is the perfect cold and wet weather running jacket or perfect for cross country skiing, or anything in which you will be working out but need to stay warm and protected from the elements. The snug fit, breathability, and water/wind resistance are what really sold me on this jacket! Super well constructed and Zoot once again thought of everything! Love it!

In completing research into different active womens brands I discovered Zoot was created for the serious athlete and although this does not reflect myself I none-the-less benefit from the innovative technologies that this jacket provides. It is perfect for running in the Pacific Northwest climate.

This is a VERY nice jacket. Quality is top notch. As usual, Zoot considered everything - windproof, sleek fit, fitted cuffs, adequate length, off-center zipper, easy access side pockets. It's all perfect. I am a 5'11" 140 lb. female cyclist and it fit my torso/arm length perfectly. Not too short! It works great over a jersey, even on chilly days (we're talking 40 degrees and sunny), because it prevents wind from flowing through and cooling off the sweat. Will be used for skate-skiing when the snow falls. I think I will buy another so that there is always a clean one to wear.

I wanted a variety of cycling jackets to wear as I live and ride in variable climates. This jacket offers nice coverage without bulk, and seems to ventilate well. I like the S-shaped zipper that avoids the chin zipper rub area. I have not used it in an extreme condition yet, but I imagine it would also be a good cross-country ski jacket. I don't like all the hyper active cycling jerseys I see on the road, so I wanted something I could wear from my bike to a public place, yet have a technical jacket that would perform well on rides in the mountains around here. This jacket is providing that for me.

Worked great as a lightweight jacket for Spring moutainbiking in Moab.
