These shoes run large. Order a 1/2 size smaller. I wear a 12 in every other running shoe, but a 11.5 in the Zoot. Great fit once size is dialed in.

They were wonderful. We would like to see more Zoot shoes added to your inventory (for both men and women). Comfortable, light, breathable, easy to put on. A favorite of ours.

    Pros:
Carbon Support is Useful, Easy to Enter and Exit, Great for MidFore Strike, Great lacing system, Light, Lively soles, Seamless Design
    Cons:
Not ideal for heel strike, Socks needed longer runs
    Best Uses:
    Running, Trails, Triathlon
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This show is great for runners and triathletes. Each week the show feels better. The shoe is the best of both worlds - it has enough cushioning to train for longer runs, and is light enough to use in a race. Before this shoe I ran on Saucony, then Adidas Supernovas and I like the Zoot Ultra much more than both of my previous shoes. The Zoot Ultra is a very flat shoe and is geared for mid and fore foot strikers.(If you're a heel striker learn to the midfoot strike! Ever since I became a mid foot striker I've had zero injuries)The problems that I found with heavy cushioning shoes like the SuperNova and Saucony were that there was too much padding towards that outer part of the foot that prevented my entire foot from striking. I have collapse arch and outward vicariance and I found this shoe gives me much more control of my striking. I do not wear orthotics in my running shoes, but I do wear eSoles in my biking shoes. I would totally disregard the review by run4yerlife because I've found the shoe to be more comfortable with a light sock by bridgedale. If you're running a sprint triathlon, then you probably don't need socks, but I'd def wear sock anything longer than a sprint or a 3miler. I would not recommend this shoe for a heel striker.

    Pros:
Great lacing system, Nice features, Thoughtful design, Well Made
    Cons:
Didn't fit my feet well, Hot Spots
    Best Uses:
    Duathlons, Shorter run races, Triathlons
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I'm big on the use of racing flats for either running or multi-sport events, and these shoes fit that category. They're specifically for the mid-foot striker, aren't intended to compensate for overpronation, and don't provide motion control (which is what I was looking for). They also have some nice features, like the lacing system. They just didn't quite work for my feet, though--the fit wasn't quite right for me and I felt some hot spots on my very first run (which probably was a result of the fit issue), so I returned them. Too bad, these shoes look great and have a lot of promise. They may well be perfect for someone with different feet, though, so worth checking out.

    Pros:
    Quick lace, Stylish, Very lightweight
    Cons:
Generate blisters, No cushion, Pricey-wo delivering
    Best Uses:
    Running
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Try this for the first time without socks on a 8 mile run. Blisters start forming on my feet (left and right) into the second mile. At the end of my 8 miles I had a total of four (2 on each foot). I am grossly disappointed. I had use the shoes with socks several weeks earlier with no problem. The shoes did not deliver as promised. Socks must still be use to prevent blisters.

These are spot on as far as sizing. I had read different things about fit but ordered my normal size and they fit perfect. What a great shoe at a bargain basement price.
