    Originally bought these for running races (10k, etc), but they didn't work well for that due to my bad knees (I need a shoe with better cushioning). But with the elastic ties (no shoe strings) they make GREAT biking shoes, since I need a shoe that transitions well from biking to walking (i.e. no clip-ins).

    will use for shorter races 5 to 10K distances both triathlon & road races. Like the weight, good support. I got a blister on the back of my R heel the first time I wore the shoes without socks. I haven't tried again but would like to be able to wear them in triathlons without socks.
