Basic Bike ComputerReviewed by Road Rambler from Oregon on Friday, June 22, 2018I don't know what people are expecting for this price, but I'm satisfied. Works fine out of the box. Used with a legacy wheel magnet; never opened the one that came with the computer.
Primarily used for distance, speed and time data. The computer periodically updates the data as it cycles through the input. Instructions are a little vague, but I managed to reset the trip meter at the end of my ride. Automatically goes into standby mode if you stop and recalculates as you start up again. Not sure how they can calculate Calories burned without some data on terrain, but don't use it anyway.
Compared with the first wired ones that came out years ago, this is a nice upgrade for a casual biker...
absolutely doesn't workingReviewed by Great Medvedini from Montana on Friday, June 15, 2018Just from the box after setting this item up - i have spontaneously selfresetting after pressing any key, no backlite, +10 celsium degree thermometer mistakes. Don't buy this item.
WorthlessVerified Buyer Reviewed by Plastan from Arlington, TX on Tuesday, June 12, 2018Very poor instructions. My guess is the mfg used translation software rather than an English speaking person to translate the instructions. 22 function ? only the clock worked and it would only use a 24hr setting. No function relating to the transmitter from the wheel worked so I bought another battery since one that came with it was in a package, and the other was loose in the box. So I'm out the cost + the battery. Spent hours adjusting the transmitter, all to no avail. Hard to return since it uses cable ties to mount. I'm chalking it up as a lesson.
OK computerReviewed by Bill from Maryland on Friday, May 18, 2018The speed and therefore odometer readings are inconsistent, even with new batteries. Speed varies from zero to actual speed and is never accurate. It's only good for the clock and the stopwatch functions.
