4.0 out of 5 stars. Great pants, run smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Snowflake from Great White North on Saturday, December 15, 2018Great features, solid but not too stiff material, good length for 5'9" me. The plum color is pretty - a warm, deep purple. However, they run a size small. The XL fit like my size L Patagonia snow pants, and the rise of these in XL was lower than all of my size L snow pants (Salomon, Patagonia, and Helly Hansen).

4.0 out of 5 stars. Sizing Ran LargeReviewed by Lauren from Buffalo on Wednesday, December 12, 2018I liked the quality of the pants. I am a US 6 and the Medium (6-8) was too large for me to wear, so I had to return them. The color is a bit brighter in person.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great over big boots!Reviewed by C.J. @ Longwood Gardens from PA on Friday, October 5, 2018I work outside in all weather (and eastern PA gets it ALL, and not in any proper order either), but have to maintain an appropriate dress code of khakis. These 686 Snowboard Pants looked like they would keep me warm & dry slogging around on those cold, slush/snow/sleet/monsoon type days we so love. Indeed these were buttery soft, flexible, and just the right amount of insulation so you aren't left feeling stiff as a board like Randy Parker in A Christmas Story.
They would be AWESOME if I wore ski boots to work, or was 6' tall... but sadly no.
BOTTOM LINE: If you want to shred the slopes in khakis, these are your pants! True to size waist & thigh. (I am between a size 12 & 14, 5'5" tall, ordered the XL) If you are looking for just waterproof snow pants to wear with your average KEENS, these aren't your gig. Both the inner taffeta snow guard with elastic and the outside lower leg are very long and extremely wide to fit over boots of Frankenstein proportions. Trying O'Neil next... wish me luck! -

3.0 out of 5 stars. ReturnedVerified Buyer Reviewed by CS from Arizona on Friday, January 26, 2018The material and make of the pants were great, but they were huge! I ordered a medium, which I am typically medium in everything, and they were way too big. After reviewing the sizing chart further, I am in the range of small and medium. If you fall in between sizes, anticipate the pants to be baggy and loose in the waist if you order up

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice pants just not for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by TG from Texas on Monday, December 11, 2017I liked these pants but they ran a tad big and I really didn't like the fabric. I thought I would from the picture, but when I got them, they just weren't for me
