SUPVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lana from CA on Wednesday, July 4, 2018This is a very small SUP, and it fits me well. I am 100 lb and 5 ft tall. It has a great stability for my weight. The paddle is not adjustable, but its length is about perfect for me (usually it is recommended to have a paddle which is about 6 inches higher than the head, if placed next to the toes). It really depends on the ape index, I think. Adjustable paddles are available to buy anyway, and I might want to experience with one later on. The material is sturdy, and the kit is lightweight and is packed into a backpack, which is super convenient. It fits everywhere, I just through it into the car, and I can carry it to the water on a little hike, no problem.
However, the kit came without the hardware for the fin, and there was no repair kit. I contacted the STP customer service, and I had the repair kit sent to me promptly. The customer service (Lee) was excellent. For the hardware, I contacted Mike from the Lucky Bums, and the screw has been sent to me. The pump's gauge is not working either, but I can live with that. The pump is not a regular one either, it has a corkscrew shape valve, so my old pump does not fit. Anyhow, it pumps well.
High quality material, very smallReviewed by Stacey from Missoula on Monday, July 10, 2017This board appears to be made of very high quality materials.
Unfortunately the shorter length makes it unstable, even for the smaller rider. I bought it for my son who is 110lbs. We tried it down river and it simply was not safe. I ended up sending the kids on in tubes and porting the paddle board out to avoid rapids. A standard board is much better for river rides.
Might be good for a child 5-12 years old on stationary water.
