Great if your dog not a chewer

This crate is easy to set up and fold up; it is lightweight; medium size was perfect for my beagle-chihuahua mix who stands about 15" and is about 19" long (excluding tail). She slept in it nicely for about 4 weeks, but then I left her alone in it during the day for two hours to go to the dentist. She still has great separation anxiety (I've had her only about 5 weeks) and she's a chewer -- well, she managed to chew and claw her way through the canvas just next to the zipper. Totally ruined it, except I can use it as an backyard dog house. One other flaw is that the zipper does not have a guard on the inside at the top, and my dog managed to open it the first time I put her in it. I was able to rig up an outside fastener that made opening it this way impossible, but it may have been this tiny opening that induced her to persevere in her clawing and chewing when I was gone from the house.
I would recommend this crate only to people whose dogs do not have separation anxiety and who have outgrown their chewing phase.
