Wanted to test the water-repelling properties and pressed a damp towel against it. Did not hold up very well. Although light-weight, it was very thin and not very comfortable. I ended up returning it. Still looking for a water-proof fleecy blanket.

Good price to have something to relax on if you have lawn seats at the jazz festival. In removing the cardboard wrapper, the stitching on the edge began to come along with it. One end of the sewn on handles on the outside for carrying also fell off during this process. So, I haven't "deployed" it yet - I'm just hoping the rest of it stays together. Next time I'll go with Woolrich's version.
