Nice Beach Sheltner

My husband and I had seen a family on the beach with one of these tripod tents and immediately came home and looked on line to find one. We read about the problems setting them up and the tips others gave were helpful. Use ziplock bags and fill them with sand to hold down the tent during set up and to put in the pockets afterwards. PUSH, DO NOT PULL the rods. We put in all three rods first and then had one person hold one end while the other put in the pin in the other end. We practiced one time before using it which helped a lot. This was a good buy compared to prices elsewhere. Not sure if it was a irregular due to a few pinholes in the tent, but it didn't bother us. They take the wind better than an umbrella and provided good shade for two people. Would work well for parents and two young children, but if you have more than that, get two tents. It's lightweight and easy to pack up. Use the sand bags to weight the tent down when packing up and the wind won't blow the tent away.
