I have bought multiples of these slippers - as on sale as I could get - because they are harder and harder to find and I feared that they would stop being sold. I have used them for summer slippers for a couple of years because the footbeds and uppers are made of some kind of cotton fabric, much cooler than wool. Also, I have very sensitive feet - it hurts to walk on bare floors barefoot. The old bones ache. So these slippers - cushioned as they are in the footbed and the upper - relieve that pain and are not too hot. I don't find them particularly attractive, but the comfort outweighs that.

These are comfortable (as Acorn always seem to be) and light. The design is a little corny but also evidenced by the pictures, IMO.

These slippers are wonderful for spring summer. I can only describe them as "walking on a cloud". Don't make my feet sweat in hot weather . . . Get the 1/2 size up. I wear an 8.5 and got the 9. Fit perfectly. The would have been too small.
