I bought these a half size larger than I normally do since I frequently wear my slippers with socks. These initially fit a little tight and I was concerned but after a few days wear they adapted to my feet (with socks) and now I hate to take them off. They are well made with very comfortable insoles... Read More

  • “I an size 12 can you let me know if I am large or clay.. For slippers”
Asked by Cllay from Yonkers, NY on 8/18/2015 6:38:44 PM
    • If you hover your mouse over or click on the sizes the corresponding numeric size will be displayed.

  • “Are these machine washable?”
Asked by Jay from Los angeles on 2/16/2015 9:59:57 PM
    • I suspect not. The slippers have a fleece lined upper, but an actual rubber-like sole. I would be hesitant to throw them in the washing machine. I am thinking back to when I received them and truthfully, I do not remember receiving a "care" type of enclosure.

I hope that this information is helpful.

    • i guess you could wash them but i have not tried. Never washed any foot wear before.

    • I don't recall for sure, but I think this are labelled hand wash. Having said that, I have an older pair that I have machine washed many times, but always allowed to air dry. They survived multiple washings and they are also boiled wool.

    • I they are indeed "fleece", I suppose maybe polyester. It seems like very soft boiled wool, so could well be a blend of any number of things. My husband and I both like the simplicity and the fact there is no fleecy-ness. Just solid comfort and warmth!

    • Not sure, but it definitely is not wool. It is soft and not itchy at all. The tag inside doesn't include the materials used - perhaps that was in the box and we've recycled it all. Sorry.

About Acorn

From humble beginnings handcrafting slipper socks to present-day factory production by skilled craftsmen, Acorn has always had one thing in mind: Comfort. Acorn slippers are so incredibly warm and comfortable that astronauts take them to space and Sherpas pack them along on expeditions in the most extreme of conditions. Acorn sheepskin shoes and boots are naturally breathable, wicking and great for warming chilly feet around the fire or after a surfing session. And while nowadays there are many different designs and innovative features, the constants are the lightweight, soft, and unbelievably cushioned interiors produced using only the finest materials. With this degree of comfort, it’s certainly no wonder Acorn customers are devoted and loyal -- nothing else compares.
