I bought these for my wife. She just loves them. She says the genuine fleece lining feels great and the wool knit outside looks great. Getting them on closeout makes them even better.

I love Acorn, and have probably had six previous pairs of Acorn slippers and given them as Christmas gifts as well. These slippers looked great (price was right, too), and I liked the blue-green color and the texture of them. However, they feel thinner than previous Acorns with less padding in the foot area--okay for summer but not year round and definitely not as comfy as other Acorns I've bought. Still, a nice slipper.

Regarding the "W" for wide mentioned by another reviewer - the box says W and then the size, so I believe the W stands for women (as opposed to a man's slipper). I did not have a problem with the width on my average-width feet.

The website stated the width was M which to me, means "medium" or "B"width.
They arrived and the box and the slipper tag said 7W which to me means "Wide". And they were way too wide. Couldn't keep them from flying off when I walked. But they are a good looking slipper if you have wide feet. I returned them.

About Acorn

From humble beginnings handcrafting slipper socks to present-day factory production by skilled craftsmen, Acorn has always had one thing in mind: Comfort. Acorn slippers are so incredibly warm and comfortable that astronauts take them to space and Sherpas pack them along on expeditions in the most extreme of conditions. Acorn sheepskin shoes and boots are naturally breathable, wicking and great for warming chilly feet around the fire or after a surfing session. And while nowadays there are many different designs and innovative features, the constants are the lightweight, soft, and unbelievably cushioned interiors produced using only the finest materials. With this degree of comfort, it’s certainly no wonder Acorn customers are devoted and loyal -- nothing else compares.
