Love the look!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Samantha from MI on Sunday, September 9, 2018Was a little nervous about sizing after reading some reviews, but am glad I ordered my normal size in Adidas shoes. They fit perfectly! I have about 20 miles on them so far and no issues. They were a little stiff when I first got them, but are breaking in nicely! Have used them on rocks, in sand and just casual walking. Great looking shoe! Wanted a shoe I could wear straight from the trail to in town and got it, definitely would buy again!!
Runs HUGEReviewed by Wolf from Maryland on Friday, June 15, 2018I am normally a size 9.5, and that is what I ordered. The sizing is absolutely crazy! The shoes were huge. It looked like they had sent me men's size 9.5. I reordered a size 8.5 and I think those will be fine. See pictures next to my size 10 Puma shoes. I don't ever wear size 8.5 in any other shoe.
I can't comment on the waterproof aspect because I haven't used the shoes yet. They seem comfortable now that I got the right size. They feel very sticky under my feet and I suspect that will be excellent at gripping rock on hikes. I am excited to use them this summer.
These shoes have seen some [...]Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tyler from Washington on Thursday, June 14, 2018I snagged a pair of these shoes 3 years ago for $25 at a sample sale. Took about 2 hikes to break them in (gave me heel blisters at first), but since I have put an extraordinary amount of miles in them. They quickly became my default hiking shoes for long-distance trips and overnighters. I've climbed 7 big walls in them, which tends to destroy shoes pretty quickly.
I just recently bought another pair (in womens since they were on clearance) and am psyched to see all the places we'll visit together. I sized them down a half-size to perform better on rock/scrambly terrain.
Narrow! My feet are narrow and conform super well to these kicks
The soles are a bit stiff, which makes them AWESOME for wearing with my BD contact strap crampons.
Laces gave out after a year of heavy use, I replaced them.
So far so goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by N from NYC on Friday, June 1, 2018I haven’t taken these actually hiking yet, but I have been breaking them in around the neighborhood. These shoes are pretty comfortable and I love the look of them as well. Something I can take on an outdoorsy vacation and not have to worry about wearing “hiking shoes” while exploring inside a small town. We will see how they hold up to actually hiking in a few weeks. ??
Clunk!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hillhiker from California on Saturday, May 19, 2018After consulting the sizing chart, I ordered my usual size. Unfortunately, they were too big so I exchanged for a half-size smaller. Those were too small. Now I'm in the process of returning those. Otherwise, mother seemed like they would have been good boots. sigh!
