Junk. Tears like paper after 4 wears mostly in a car

So my thoughts on this. 1st, I had doubts about Adidas outerwear. I normally stick with names like Outdoor Research, Columbia, etc.
I liked it as it read well- climaproof? Sounded nice. Well it does not breath.

The main reason I bought this was to protect my Outdoor Research down jacket which does have DWR but I wanted to make sure it stayed dry and also would not snag and lose feathers. BOY I MADE A MISTAKE HERE.

This is no shell. It looks nice enough. The size is great as it fits over my down jacket and lots of room. Pockets are not so great but no biggie.

It does not breathe as my down jacket gets soaked if I work up any heat under it (that's in the snow as I live in CO).

So I walk my dog in some light snow in my neighborhood. I can't even figure it out but when I got home I noticed there's a tear on the front of the jacket. The best I can come up with is I brushed against a soft evergreen branch sticking out over the sidewalk. I mean I literally was on a sidewalk for the 1/4 mile walk I took my Bernese Mountain Dog.

The jacket is ruined. I realize the tear is small but these things like to keep on tearing and I realize climaproof is not functional like Gore Tex. I have a Gore Tex REI jacket that has NEVER TORN and I've worn it BACKPACKING in the mountains of COLORADO. Seriously Adidas! A jacket that tears on a walk in your neighborhood?

I had this rushed shipped and paid extra as I really wanted protection for my down jacket. So I am out the expensive shipping - my fault for being impatient and the cost of this junk.

I now have to look for a REAL shell. I know this is a jacket but the way it's described and what I read on Amazon as others bought it as a shell, well I thought I made a smart move.

I BET RIGHT NOW if I had worn just my down jacket I would not have had a tear from walking my dog in my neighborhood.

DON'T BUY Adidas outerwear. Stick to sneakers and sports gear.
