These are so cute and comfortable, and very pretty golden yellow. Runs a little large -- I had to exchange for 1/2 size smaller.

These are very handsome sandals that go well with summer dresses. The woven rope espadrille type insole is quite comfortable on hot days, cushioning your feet and absorbing sweat. They are more of an ivory than bright white and would be a good choice for wearing to a casual outdoor wedding. I normally wear a size 8, somewhat narrow heel with a medium width across the ball of my foot and a high instep and the size 8 in these was perfect. Though I have fairly slender ankles I did find that the high part of the front of the woven upper rubbed the front of my ankle a little when I walk but that is easily fixed if you buy these and find them snug there. The various loops of the design of the upper are woven together with a wrap of waxed thread. Simply use a seam ripper tool or a sharp pair of small scissors (I used cuticle scissors) to snip the bundle of threads. pull them off and then carefully cut the two sides apart. It looks fine, as you can see the photo I have posted with this modification, and makes the shoes more comfortable. No photo, but I also found that you can braid colored ribbon through the loops and tie a bow at the ankle to change the look, something that would be very cute on a younger girl.

Love the stylishness of these sandals. I got the white with the hemp detailing. They are perfect for casual or for dressier wear. I'm normally an 8M, but 7.5M worked well. I haven't put them to a test yet, but they do seem comfortable. The footbed has some "give" to it. They are a bit wide at the ankle so probably wouldn't be great for someone with skinny ankles.

I bought these for my 12 year old daughter and she loves them. Wore them with shorts and dresses and they look great. Took them on vacation and she never complained about them hurting or giving her blisters. I only wish I bought myself a pair. I would say they do run a little big. She is between a 9 and 9 1/2. I bought the 9 1/2 and she had some extra room by her toes.
