These are beautifully detailed jeans; the seams are reinforced at stress points, there are two belt loops at the back of waist instead of one, etc. The fabric is a nice weight, too. I expected the same quality as my other jeans ,with the cashmere included, but these weren't the same at all ,the sizing was way off and the fabric was harsh.

I purchased these jeans because the price was good for the brand name. Naturally they must be shortened unless you are 6' tall. I am 5'7" and took them up 3 ". Luckily I can sew reasonably well so did not have to pay for alterations. If that had been necessary, I would have returned them. Although the style is a bit low on the hips, they fit me well since I am slender and have slim thighs. If you have an athletic build with larger thighs, trust me, they won't fit. I would recommend with reservations.
    • Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out
    • Cons: Material seems harsh, Must be shortened
    • Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser
    • Length: Feels too long
    • Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Washes Well
    • Waist: Feels true to size

Two comments: I recently read a book on how to longer younger and stylish jeans were a definite must. So I purchased these at STP versus spending $200.00 elsewhere. I did buy slightly larger than my nl size 10 (I bought sz32 pants) and washed them, then I had them professionally hemmed - they are gorgeous! I'd say they shaved off 5 yrs according to my daughter.

About Agave Denim

Driven by a passion for top-quality denim and a desire to craft better jeans, Agave Denim started out in the living room of founder and designer Jeff Shafer. From the beginning, Jeff’s goal was simply to produce the best-tailored, highest quality jeans possible. Today, many pairs of Agave Denim jeans are still sewn and hand-finished in California. Each pair begins life as 100% ring-spun cotton denim cloth that is cut from patterns perfected by master tailors. Hand treatments and wash processes are added to lend the jeans their unique colors and finishes. This process results in endless variations that make each pair feel like one of a kind.
