The upper is made from water-resistant materials and features Ahnu's waterproof breathable membrane for a double-dose of moisture protection. Numentum® Hike technology, a stabilizing TPU shank and the lugged Vibram® rubber outsole all work together for outstanding support and all-terrain traction.

I wasn't sure how I would like the pull tab instead of tie laces, but it holds well and I actually like it better. I wear them with smart wool socks for a bit of padding and warmth. Perfect for winter!

I've given them three stars because the shoe itself seems well made and maybe this won't be an issue for others, but I they weren't right for me.

I ordered my standard size: 9.5 and though I was worried they may be short, they fit just right and feel solid but light. The foot bed is super supportive, and there are two lace options: black and a red that matches the shoe trim. I haven't put them to much of a test. But the short walks have been wonderful. Going to Scotland with them later this month. That will be the real test!
