Good lightweight hiking boot

I hike as a State Park Volunteer several times a week I have a variety of boots for everything from backpacking to urban walking. I am always looking for lightweight trail boots as I am small and slender. Big, heavily padded boots hiking boots make me feel like I am lugging cement around! I can't speak to long term use, but I have been wearing the Ahnu Fairfax Shoes on the backcountry trails for several weeks. They are very lightweight and comfortable. I have no foot problems and don't weigh a lot. I usually wear a 7 to 7 1/2 and bought the 7 1/2 and they fit well with wool socks. Fellow hikers often look skeptically at me and ask if I am hiking in "those". They work for me! Only complaint is that the black leather always looks dusty from trail dust. They need a firm shoe brush to keep clean.
