I didn't find that to be the case. My right foot is a little bigger that the left and I often have to put a heel pad in to keep the left from slipping. Same with these. They are cute and comfy at a great price. Thanks Sierra!

Not sure a half size smaller would work for me, but that size is out of stock anyway.

7-1/2, and I had to exchange it for a 6-1/2. The 6-1/2 fit better and I kept them, however I wish I would have exchanged them for a 6, they run that large. I would say a whole size and a half in my case. -

I have a pair of Ahnu Karma in 8 1/2. These do slip on the heal, but I think extra heal cushion will fix that. 8 probably would have been better, but I didn't want the top to fit too tightly. I'll wear them this spring with capris and ankle pants, and even casual dresses.

I ordered an 8 instead of and 8.5 and the shoe still slipped up and down in the heel. Too bad, because they are so well made and the footbed is very much like a Birkenstock comfort. Live and learn.
