Used for Alaska hunting 2 years now

I see so many reviews today based on the experience of taking the item out of the box. So, I've waiting 2 years before giving a review on these boots. I was reluctant to purchase them at the time due to limited awareness about the boots. However, I did read a review from somone who used them mountaneering and I thought it worth the risk. After purchasing the boots I was very surprised at the short break in period. They were comfortable out of the box and they really didn't need a break in period. I started out on short steep hikes of 3-4 miles and never encountered a single hot spot. I've now used them in every condition including rain, snow, hills, and mountains. I've spent weeks out hunting moose and sheep in the harsh Alaskan conditions and have found these boots to be the best I've owned. They do have a tendency to be a bit warm when hunting in August for sheep. They're also heavier than most boots typically used for hunting. However, I will take the extra warmth and weight for such a high quality boot. I highly recommend them.
