Fit the bill

I've tried several different boots getting ready for the JMT. The Tetons are my final choice and here's why;
Plenty of room in the toe box. Good lacing so my foot didn't slide forward. Rocks don't go through the sole. I didn't have any problems with heel sores as I've had with others. Wore them with no problems on an 11 mi hike with a 40 lb pack. I usually get 11.5 but I got the 11 due to the toe room. I also have flat feet.
The biggest complaint is the insoles. They are worthless sliders as others have already said. I do plan on using Superfeet insoles.
