Good Italian made boots

I used to only wear Vasque Sundowner boots...since I was about 16. I never had to break them in, I would put them on and head into the hills! Perfection! Then, once, I bought a new pair and set out on a 21-mile hike on the Bridger Foothill Trail outside of Bozeman, MT. 5 miles in, I had to hike out and get a ride into town because my feet were torn up. Getting home, defeated, I examined the boots. China! The [...] boots were made in China. I took them back to my local shoe store and they let me trade them in a for a pair of Vasque still made in Italy. That was about 10 years ago. I was ready for a new pair of boots and could not find a worthy pair until this Alico. They were on closeout at a [...] good price and, having nothing to lose, bought them in a women's 8.5. Put them on, sighed happily and proceeded to leash the dogs up and head into the hills. Only did a 3 mile hike but that was my break in period. They were good, no rubs, no blisters. I highly recommend these boots, especially to any old school Sundowner fans out there!
