Solid Boots

This is my second pair of these, for work! I inspect bridges, towers, and dams for a living - lots of walking around on rough, rocky, woodsy, wet, steep terrain, and climbing on structural steel. I learned long ago that well-made heavy hiking boots like these are FAR superior to even the best made-for-work boot. I should know: hiking, backpacking, climbing, and caving are among my hobbies. I have not tried backpacking with the Alicos - but they should do fine.
