Supportive Boots

Excellent support which I needed for my ankles (the Tahoe's leather loses it's stiffness over time). Recently bought them and went on a 10-mile hike to begin the break in process. Should have made it 5-miles as I have silver-dollar size blisters on both ankles. Mainly because my foot is an E width (not a D and not a 2E). So I went with the 1/2 size down in a 2E and the fit is good. The crease is starting on my fore foot rubs in but I expect it to improve as they break in. On the trail they are beautiful, not failing my ankles and providing opportunities to improve my strength by using the steel shank combined with foot placement.
