Great boot, runs big

These are fabulous, heavy, extremely well-made Shearling-lined Wellingtons. I wear them all winter, with my only complaint that I bought a size 10.5, which is too big, though I generally buy boots in either 10.5 or 11. Consequently, I get a little heel slip, even wearing my thickest socks, and it's getting worse as the shearling slowly condenses. The boot is also a little taller than most similar boots from other makers, so can be a tight fit under narrow jean legs. I only hope that Sierra carries these again, because I'll buy a pair of 10s even though a season of heavy winter use in Wisconsin has barely dented the appearance of my first pair.
  • Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather
  • Pros: Comfortable, Warm
  • Sizing: Feels half size too big
  • Width: Feels true to width
