All other boots should live up to Alico

As many have said you can not find better quality. STP price can not be beat. I have a pair of Alico hiking boots from a previous STP purchase so I knew that they run 1/2 size small. I ordered size 9 and normally wear 8 1/2. The biggest problem is foot comfort however they are so nice I was going to find a way to make them work. A lack of arch support is the problem. I had a pair of Super Feet arch support inserts. So I pulled out the stock flat foot bed and installed the arch supports. Then I added a pair of Danner Airthotic arch supports and I was able to be on my feet, on concrete for 8 hr. comfortably. My feet are narrow so the extra insole made the fit better. Worth the effort. Either pair of Alicos I wear people ask me what brand they are, where do you get them and what do they cost.
