Best rugged boot available

I work in forestry, and need a boot that can handle wet conditions in any season. I originally purchased this boot for work, but was so impressed with the quality, durability, and traction that I ordered another pair for hiking. (Personally, the additional .5 to 1.0 lb that these boot weigh over lightweight tech boots is easily offset by the durability and quality!)

These boots will need regular oiling and sealing to make them last 10 or more years, but that is well worth the effort.

*note: these boots are not insulated (a blessing in summer) but in temps below 15F can get a bit cold. I have found that ordering a half size larger allows for me to wear 2 pairs of socks and still be comfortable in the boots walking all day.
(for me a polyester base sock with a medium wool sock works perfectly for warmth and comfort in winter)
