Alico Summits

These boots are not the best boots on the market, but they are the best boots for under $200. Alico's lower end boots aren't as good and tend to fall apart easily, but the Summits seem to be of much better material and construction. There is a small break-in period, but that speaks entirely to the quality of the boots. If you can't break in a pair of hiking boots, then stay in the city.
