Follow up after a few short hikes

Followup to my initial impressions: I've put a few miles on these now, including some VERY steep hiking. I'm still waiting for the "long break in" to appear. To me they've been comfortable right out of the box. No blisters or hot spots. I put the Superfeet "green" insoles in them, which are great, and used a ton of Snowseal. One note on sizing: When I say "true to size and width" I mean it. The sizing is EXACT. My feet are just slightly wider than Medium, but not an "E". I went with "Medium." That's fine for relatively thin hiking socks, but cramped for thick ones. Consider the size and width to be a MAXIMUM. If there is any doubt at all about the width go up to an "E". I do my hiking in the summer so I'm good with it, but if I had it to do over again I'd get the "E". Other than that, though, they're great boots. No complaints at all.
