Beautiful rugged upper - light sole

My intention was to replace my Vasque Superhikers (resoled twice!) with these, but after a short break-in the Alicos have a way more flexible sole that doesn't suit me for heavy packing. They are very comfortable and the wide width fit's my wide forefoot, high arch, and narrow healed foot very well. But I'm still looking for a heavy weight hiker...
  • Arch Type: High Arch
  • Best Uses: Harsh Terrain, Light Loads, Long-Distance Hiking
  • Cons: Too Flexible
  • Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer
  • Pros: Ankle Support, Comfortable
  • Sizing: Feels half size too big
  • Was this a gift?: No
  • Width: Feels true to width
