Should last a lifetime

Great boots for hiking and light backpacking. Being all-leather, they are of course going to be heavier than man-made materials. The thick leather does require a little break-in time to mold to your foot's shape, but that's to be expected.

Once broken in, they are comfortable and supportive. The sole has held up well over hundreds of miles of trail use. Traction is great, except on wet rock.

Also, the smooth leather interior does seem to prevent blisters, as I've never had any with these boots.
