Better boots than you may ever need

These are super boots!
If they won't take you up the mountain, you probably shouldn't go.
I've hiked and climbed in the Cascades and Rockies as well as the deserts of Arizona and West Texas. These boots can manage the worst ground you can find.
They are STIFF (as they should be when new.) Breaking them in may take weeks, but they should last many years. The Vibram soles are extra-deep and hard.
Build-quality is excellent. Good examples of traditional European look and craftsmanship, no gimmicky nylon inserts or crazy sew-ons.
Buy them many weeks before a major trek and break them in carefully. These boots are made for real hiking!
  • Best Uses: Harsh Terrain, Heavy Loads, Light Loads, Long-Distance Hiking
  • Cons: Long Break-in
  • Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Environmentalist
  • Pros: Ankle Support, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable, Warm
  • Sizing: Feels half size too small
