Great "old tech" hiking boots!

This boot is perfect for hikers who value the pros of the good'ol leather boot: once broken in (after three to four 8 mile hikes), you have a boot with "custom fit". The leather is water proof, if well taken care of, and it is much more abrasion resistant than what I've seen with more modern boots. The boot is light enough and the sole is flexible enough for use on flat terrain. Manufacturing quality appears to be high, I have used my first pair for three years on a very frequent basis, and just bought a second, to be initiated (hopefully) years from now... The only "cons" I can see: this boot has not much dampening built in, and there is no strong arch support.
