Excellent oldschool boots

I use these boots for hiking and backpacking. They provide excellent support for heavy loads. They are also very warm. I've used them in temperatures ranging from 59 F (15 Celsius) to 5 F (-15 Celsius) and my toes haven't been cold.I picked these boots because they're the last affordable all-leather backpacking boots available without goretex, that will be easy to re-sole. And they're NOT made in China.A note of caution to anyone shipping to Canada:I would recommend using one of the alternative shipping services STP recommends for Canadians (ex. [@]). Because the combination of Duty (20%) and GST (6%) and brokerage charge (10$) and shipping cost raises the price of these boots by about 90$: UPS charged me exactly 65$, plus I paid STP for shipping. If you live close to the border make a trip out of it: wear old shoes, drive down and pick up your news boots, spend a night in the US (gives you 150$ import allowance), and wear your new boots back home.I would highly recommend Sierra Trading Post and these boots to all my friends!
