Real hiking boots still exist!

I have been disappointed with textile boots with molded EVA soles. In my mind, textile boots are nothing more than heavy running shoes, and glue dries and the soles eventually fall off. These Alico Summit hiking boots are the real deal. These are solid, double stitched Norwegian welt soled, beautifully constructed old school hiking boots and so far they have been comfortable, but I am still in the break-in period of using them for dog walks in the evening. I hope to take them on a rocky hike later this winter or next spring.
