The real deal....no fluff.

They are a little stiff out of the box due to the thick leather uppers. However, they break-in quickly without creating hotspots or blisters. These boots are as rugged as any boot I have owned. I use them for hiking, backpacking, and snowshoeing. They look and feel expensive. The leather quickly conforms to the foot - fit like my old USMC jungle boots fit. EXCELLENT support while carrying a heavy backpack. EXCELLENT traction in snow, mud, steep inclines/declines, and bare rock. The boots are slightly heavier with a more rigid sole than most high tech boots that cost 3 times as much. Perfect for how I use them. I got these boots for [$], down from $240.....unbelievable boot at any price.
