Great Boots

These are Alico's light duty boots, but they would be almost any other brand's heavy duty boots. They are supportive enough and solid enough to carry a 60 lb pack up and down mountains for weeks and at a bit over 3lbs a pair they do not feel like overkill on a light overnight.
As with any boots made of good tough leather there is a break in period, but wearing them around the house and around town for a week made it pretty pain free for me.
I normally wear an 8, and my 7.5 size tahoes are large enought to accomadate my feet + a pair of thick wool socks.
