Great traditionally constructed boot

I was looking for a welted sole full leather boot after the glued soles on my (very expensive) Lowa Scouts fell apart. The price on these was great, these boots are lighter, and look to be more durable than those. These are a classic light/mid weight boot. They're not light by modern standards, and they're one piece leather uppers with stiff soles. They feel good straight out of the box, but will require some break-in. I think I could immediately put some miles on them without blisters, but they'll get even better with some time. I agree with the other reviewers that the insole should be replaced, I just haven't done it yet. The toe box area is very generous with lots of room to move my toes, and as long as they're laced properly, my toes shouldn't hit the end of the boot. No more sore toes after a long descent! The fit in the middle of the foot and heel are about as perfect for my foot as can be.
