If you wore and loved Vasque in the 70s

If you wore Vasque in the 1970s and loved them, these and the other Alico hiking boots are your boot. They don't make them like this anywhere anymore and the Vasque line is currently made in China. But the only thing I can deduce is that the expert craftsmen that used to make the Italian boots years ago decided to continue making these fine boots. Vasque's of the 70s were my favorite boots and these are the closest thing you can buy to them today. In fact, I can't tell any difference from the ones of my college days. Use a proper leather conditioner/water proofing compound and these boots will not get wet. They are not as light as current models, but if you need a hiking boot that will last for a decade or longer, these are your brand. Tough, long lasting and made to last. My favorite boots and I have all three in the line.
