Old School and Great Value

I've been scrambling for over 20 years. My first "good" pair of boots was Fabianos in 1986. All leather, incredibly well made, Vibram thick welt sole, heavy as hell and built to withstand anything I could. I've been missing those boots since 2000 and after my glue-soled Vasques gave out I decided to try the welt sole again. Am I glad I did! While these Tahoes aren't as heavy as the Fabianos (too bad Fabiano went the way of the Dodo) I am enjoying their solidity and looking forward to many years of service.
