Alico Trilogy Completed!

Have had the Summits for over 3 years, the New Guides for a little over a year, and finally got the Tahoes. Very comfy with some green Superfeet, and they feel nice and light which is great because I wanted some variety between the Summits and the Guides. I'm amazed with Alico boots and how comfortable they are on my size 13 wide feet. These have a lot more flex to the soles than their beefier siblings for everyday wear/non-serious hiking. Should be great for the Summer. Have been wearing the Summits for the past few Summers, and wanted something a bit lighter and possibly cooler. One thing about Alico boots, once they're broken in they're definitely customized to your feet. I can wear all three with a thin Bridgedale sock (even the New Guides if it's just a few miles) They're that comfy. Some Limmer boot grease will preserve the leather and keep them dry. I wish the Tahoes were full leather on the interior, like the other two models. Hopefully the fabric will hold up. 4.5 stars for these, and 5 stars for the Summits and New Guides. Great boots! Wish Alico made some low top hiking shoes as well.
