Narrow Feet?

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Strider from Kansas City, MO on Thursday, September 1, 2011
I have narrow feet and have to deal with the fairly common problem of boots fitting OK in the toe box, but being too wide in the heel. That is especially true of these Alico Tahoes (size 11M) as they are a little on the wide side of medium. I wore them around the house for a week before deciding to keep them because boots that don't hold your heel firmly are bummers for any serious hiking. I think I solved the problem by using Superfeet green insoles, moderate weight sock liners, and Thorlo trekking socks. Why bother? Because there's nowhere else can you get Norwegian welt boots of this quality for such a good price. And hardly anyone makes boots in B width anymore.
