Nice boots

Still 'brand new' so can't comment on break-in. For me (very sporadic hiker, nowadays just bought these for everyday wear), breaking-in my older boots is usually more about breaking my own feet in rather than the boot! Casual shoes and running shoes don't put much demand on my feet, and I need to build up some tougher feet for hiking/backpacking.

Can't comment on durability but it looks promising. Very high-quality leather, impeccable craftsmanship. Looks like they've applied a sealant to the welt stitching (may address an earlier complaint about water leaking). I'd say they will likely be fine for day hiking or 2-3 night lighter backpacking trips. Might want something sturdier for very rough terrain or 40+ pound packs. But that's just speculation comparing them to my Scarpa SL M3's.

Was a bit nervous about buying a boot online, but fit is 'on the money' length/width. Review template only has "high arch/low arch" options. I'd say they are "regular arch". I'm a low-volume foot, and these are just slightly higher volume than ideal when using the included insoles. Probably will be just right with a green SuperFeet. The toe box is a little bit "High" compared to most boots/ shoes I own (lots of room to wiggle up/down). Not an issue I think, just thought I'd mention it.
