I've owned a pair of Alico Tahoe boots for several
years. I hike in mostly desert terrain, so I
encounter sandy and rough, rocky surfaces. My
Alico boots provide a safe, secure grip when I
traverse desert trails. The sturdy leather has
withstood contact with abrasive rocks well. The
sole shows little wear. I double tie the laces to
prevent unlacing.

My Alico have molded to my feet now, after many miles of adventuring. The boots are sturdy, but
not heavy.

I wanted boots that complemented VW Westfalia camper and my vintage Mercedes Benz diesels. I wanted boots that were made by an old World craftsman who may have ridden his lugged steel bike to the factory. I did not want anything made in China. Ah, I found these Alico boots. I recently bought another pair of Alico Tahoe boots as well as the Alico Summit boots.
