Beautiful boots, solid platform

These beautiful Italian-made boots brought a smile to my face when I opened the box. I found I could slip two fingers behind my heel when my toe was forward in the box, and was at first worried the boots were half a size too big. Then I remembered that feet swell on demanding hikes and that I might well want to wear thicker socks. That did the trick. So far, they've taken me to the top of 14,309' Uncompahgre Peak in the San Juans. At the price I paid, these were less expensive than many inferior boots.
