Reviewed by Amber from Colorado on Tuesday, April 24, 2018Sturdy, well thought out, versatile, easy to clean.
I read some reviews that the tongs don't work well, but I didn't have a problem at all. Maybe if you're trying to turn a huge piece of something they won't work, but I did various vegetables, sausages, etc. and they were fine.
I keep them in the kitchen drawer and they get a lot of everyday use. Would be a great housewarming gift for anyone moving to a smaller apartment, to college, etc.
Reviewed by LWrunhike from Minnesota on Friday, March 23, 2018I bought this with the intention to use while backpacking camping. I overlooked the length when I bought and also didn't look closely at the posted pictures as you can see its size in comparison to a full size stockpot. It is a nice length of 10.5" and about 2 inches wide at the widest part of the spoon head. This is too large for the small backpack mess kit I intend to use it with. However, I have decided to use this for everyday home use as well as car camping when size doesn't matter. Function product and good quality. I bought it in black/grey and also in turquoise.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by SnowGypsy from Kansas on Tuesday, January 2, 2018This is the 2nd one I ordered. I bought one for camping which I decided to use in the house, so needed another. So many uses taking up so little space!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by MesaGuy from Costa Mesa, CA on Monday, May 22, 2017The unit is very difficult to slide together and apart. (Gets easier with use, but still too hard.) The spoons are very large, which is OK for things like Pasta etc, but not for eating. In the end, the problem with this unit is that one buys it for use as tongs, and they are not good tongs. They do not spread enough to be good at flipping cut meat (even bacon) so I find them pretty useless.
