The material is soft enought it doesn't make shwishing nylong sound and you can wear it like you would cotton. But it dries quickly, breaths easily, doesn't stain easily, and weirdly doesn't hold body odor, even in day after day travel wear. The durability surprises me since it doesn't give the impression of being made well--there are lots of sray fraying loose nylon fibers in the pockets even after multiple washing. There are lots of details I don't want or need on this shirt, which may be useful for some fishermen not me, but they are easy to remove.
