  • NOT metal edges
Reviewed by Aaron B from New Hampshire on Wednesday, December 14, 2016
I just got these, so I haven't used them yet, and will update the review accordingly later. Right now though, PLEASE NOTE, these skis do NOT have metal edges. Still a good deal, and they look decent enough, but the listing is wrong. Just FYI!

  • “what bindings on this site are compatible with these skis? i bought the rotefella NNN basic touring nordic ski bindings and the Whitewoods 306 nordic ski boot from you but it seems as though they will not fit properly on this ski. Please advise.
    thanks”
Asked by Stephen from New Jersey on 2/7/2017 5:41:08 PM
    • These skis take the 'NIS Plate' style of bindings, which means they don't need to be drilled, and you can install them yourself. The binding slides over the ridged 'plate' that's fixed on the ski and uses a ratchet system to stay in place. When i bought these skis (I'm the one review thus far) STP didn't have any NIS plate bindings in their listings.

  • “Do these skis really have metal edges? your description says they do, but a reviewer says nope!”

  • “The overview says these have steel edges, however, I don't think this model does. Isn't the model with edges called Control 64 BC or Control 64 Edge?”
